Claude may be the best coding model, but it’s not perfect. Sometimes you need to ask another model to get unblocked. Now, with Claude Code Hooks, you can call Gemini’s CLI from within Claude’s interactive terminal mode and get backup when Claude is stuck.

I’m not sure if I’m recommending this next tool, or warning you. But you should be aware that it exists. Replicate.com isn’t all that new, but it’s the best tool I’ve seen for creating AI images trained on your (or someone else’s) likeness, with consistent results and a wide range of settings and inputs.

When you’re using AI to build an app (vibe-coding), you can use one tool from start to finish, or switch between various tools depending on the task. Some AI tools are starting to specialize in just one step, like generating the PRD or the backend.

Last week I had the pleasure of watching Anthony Giuliano from Goose AI speak at DevRelCon about creating engaging YouTube videos. I haven’t tried Goose yet, and honestly, there are so many AI tools that something has to stand out for me to try a new one. I’ve heard of Goose, but I hadn’t seen a reason to try it yet until this video from Anthony.

This is an awesome feature, but an even better video. The unexpected intro, polished animations, and summary of what you’re about to learn, all make the first minute engaging, and effective at hooking viewers until the end. Not to mention the excellent lighting and audio. Just an awesome video all around.
